Account Executive

We are looking for “the very best” individuals who are goal oriented, highly motivated, articulate and have a strong passion for marketing and sales, can prospect, generate leads, cultivate opportunities, effectively present, foster business and generate revenue.  As a key member of the team, you will facilitate the design, estimating, production and installation of events, exhibits and corporate environments

Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related area
  • 2+ years working experience
  • Be PC proficient with particular emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite specifically: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Have a passion for cold calling and networking
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
  • Be comfortable giving presentation in front of large groups of people  and the ability to interface with diverse audiences

Senior 3D Designer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the entire environmental design process from conceptual sketching to 3 Dimensional renderings
  • Specifying materials and working with the production team to keep the integrity of the design. 
  • Have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Must be able to interact with current and perspective clientele and other design team members.

Requirements:
  • Major degree of study in Industrial Design, Exhibit Design or Related degree is required.
  • 5 + years working experience.
  • Accomplished in Form Z 6.0, 3D Studio Max or 3d Studio Viz.
  • Proficient with Adobe CS3 (Photoshop and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills.

Chicago
Operations Manager
An Operations Manager is a key member of our national Production Team. They supervise inner division projects as well as assist our national network. They coordinate the division functions such as production, estimating, engineering, detailing, purchasing, facilities, local field services, and safety, warehouse and shipping departments. Other duties include:

  • Maintain Master Schedule and Capacity Plan
  • Work with Division Executives to continually increase Profitable Revenue Growth
  • Create and implement procedures that improve Contribution Margin and Net Income
  • Cost analysis: ensure accurate capture and recording of manufacturing data (labor, materials, misc.) which are reported to senior management
  • Maintain physical plant and equipment
  • Participates in the hiring process
  • Train and develop personnel in both technical and administrative tasks
  • Participates in annual performance reviews
  • Responsible for overall building services
  • May act as an active member of project teams with Account Executive, Project Manager, Graphics Designer etc., participating in kick-off and status meetings, ensuring effective communication of timelines, deadlines, deliverables and pertinent details
Experience Required:
Applicants must have a minimum 10 years of exhibit, manufacturing or production experience and 5 years of management experience. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Chicago and Midwest exhibit markets and have thorough knowledge of the entire operations process from sales to design to production to onsite implementation and have the desire and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a demanding schedule.

Education and Skills:

Carpenters

Position requires:

  • Carpentry expertise (exhibit or architectural millwork)
  • Ability to read and understand complex shop drawings and specifications
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work as part of a team and interface with all levels of the organization as well as client organizations
  • Multi-tasking, ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, demanding environment
Responsibilities include:
  • Function as part project teams, ensure scheduling, production requirements
  • Determine method and configuration of crates for each job
  • Procure stock and special materials, maintain inventory of same
  • Fabricate acrylic and wood model parts as required
  • Fabricate acrylic vitrines (solvent joints), bent acrylic parts and polishing
  • Maintain all hand tools, equipment
  • Compliance with general safety, EPA, OSHA and Fire Safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Exhibit Designer

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, Present and Develop Concepts for 2D and 3D Projects
  • Preflight client-supplied files for production
  • Layout  and design of tradeshow graphics within corporate guidelines
  • Specify inkjet and digital printing on papers, vinyls and fabrics
  • Proficiency in file management including ftp sites
  • Write and submit orders to production and outside vendors
  • Occasional travel
Requirements:
  • A Bachelors Degree in Industrial or Interior Design
  • Proficiency in 3D Studio V12 2008,  Adobe CS3 Production Studio Premium, AutoCad, Form Z and MS  Office 
  • Thorough understanding of graphics software, color and image resolution  
  • Advanced color management or retouching skills a plus    
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, interfacing at all levels within the organization as well as client organizations
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadline-driven task/projects in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
